Outlook Add In Won’t Load in the Desktop Application

When installing the Pexip “My Meeting Video” Outlook Add In some users may experience that  the Add-In will not load properly and Outlook does not the fetch the information that is needed to schedule a video-conferencing call. This has been seen in currently supported versions of Windows, 0365, and Exchange-On Prem environments as well. 


It has been discovered that the Local Low Integrity level of Windows users profiles can be altered when there are anti-viruses, custom windows image deployments, system cleaners, and other actions that can re-set the integrity level of the Local Low folder.


To set the integrity level to the Local Low folder for the users profile to “Low” perform the following:

  • Open the Command Prompt and Run as administrator. Run the following command

        icacls %userprofile%\Appdata\LocalLow /t /setintegritylevel (OI)(CI)L


You can check the integrity level of the Local Low folder by going to the “C:\Users\username\Appdata\LocalLow” in the users profile and it should be set to set to LOW
